What is the refund policy?

The initial deposit is not refundable, but if we are able to re-sell the place then we may be able to refund any additional payments made.

What meals will be included?

The first meal provided will be the evening meal when we arrive in the resort.  We will have breakfast at the hotel each morning and have an evening meal in the Disney Village. We will also provide breakfast on the return travel day with the aim of arriving back in Stockport for lunch time. Participants will purchase their own lunches during the day to provide flexibility for their visit to the park so will need to bring some money with them.

What travel documents will I need?
You will need to have an up-to-date passport with at least 3 months remaining before it expires. You will also need to have an up to date GHIC card too. More information about these things will be sent out nearer the time. The trip is provided by 'Venture Abroad' so all insurance etc is fully covered by them.

What will the weather be like?

We hope for great weather, but plan for it to be cold. It's likely to have frost in the mornings and it has even been known to have snow on the ground at this time of year.  Bring layers and a coat!

What hotel will we be staying in?

We are staying at The Novotel Marne La Vallee Collegien which is a short coach ride from the main park. Room allocations will be sorted nearer the time, but expect 4 people per room.

How will the young people be supervised?

The young people will be split into small sub-groups, each with a couple of adult leaders who will accompany them round the park.  The parks have lots of Cast Members (staff) on hand and each participant will receive details of an emergency number that leaders can be contacted on and the village has a high level of security on entrance and exits.  Whilst in the hotel, leaders will be allocated rooms to check on and each youth room will be allocated an adult room in case they need a leader overnight.

I am not that keen on rides what is there to do?

There are plenty of rides at Disney, not all of them are for tall people, Buzz Lightyear and It's A Small World to name but two.  There are lot of other things to do beyond the rides. The magic of Disney includes some amazing special effects shows, character meet and greets, parades and fireworks.  There is lots to do beyond just rides.

What restrictions are there for the rides?

This page has good information on height/age restrictions in one place but you can search the parks maps and find this information for each attraction too.
